Moon Void-of-Course
by Karin Lynn
Every month, the Moon spends about 2.5 days travelling through each zodiac sign.

As the Moon passes through the 30 degrees of each sign, she forms aspects (geometric angles) with the other 9 planets in numerical order, from lowest to highest degree.

Once the Moon has aspected the planet of the highest degree in that sign, she is considered void-of-course (VOC) until she enters the next zodiac sign.

During this void period, the Moon is likened to travelling in a vacuum.  Projects started under Moon VOC never seem to get off the ground.  Action becomes ineffective.  Plans fail to materialize.  You may not have all the information needed to make sound decisions.

The keyword to remember for Moon VOC is "NOTHING" ~ because nothing may come of it!  For this reason, you should avoid initiating important activities during void periods.

On the other hand, the Moon VOC is an excellent time for reflective activities, like meditation, or for making plans that you'd rather not keep!
